FROM HAUGESUND TO AVALDSNES

Follow Rv 47 to Skudeneshavn ,  The road changes to E 134 a few km before the bridge. Pass the bridge.  When you come to the roundabout at Avaldsnes, turn left (third exit) and drive straigt (2nd exit) in the next roundabout to the St.Olavs church at Avaldsnes.

BY BUS

Scheduled bus from Haugesund to Avaldsnes

Bus no 209 and 210 from Haugesund will take you from Haugesund to Avaldsnes. There is a 10 minute walk from the bus stop to the Historical Avaldsnes. Ask the bus driver for Avaldsnes. The bus stops on the mainroad E134. When you go of the bus you have to cross the road by an underground walkway.  Follow the road on your left. You will see 2 roundabouts. Follow the walkway and look for the landmark St. Olavs church.

Kystbussen» is operating between Bergen – Haugesund – Stavanger. (Bergen – Haugesund, 3 h, 15 min) / (Stavanger – Haugesund, 2 h). If you want to travel from the east of Norway «Haukeliekspressen» is operating between Oslo – Åmot – Seljestad – Haugesund (9 hours).

BY CAR

From Bergen (3 h, 15 min) and Stavanger (2 h), follow E39. Attention: If you come from Stavanger – take direction Skudesneshavn in the subsea tunnel. When out of the tunnel, take right towards Avaldnes and Haugesund.

From Oslo (7 h, 15 min), follow E134.
