APRIL

Nå er det rett før sesongen starter på Avaldsnes. April er også lammetid på Avaldsnes og derfor er det fint om alle besøkende viser hensyn til de små lammene og holder hunder i bånd.

• Frem til 23 april har Historiesenteret åpent onsdager 10-16 og søndager 12-17. Fra mandag 24 april har vi åpent hver dag på Nordvegen historiesenter og suvenirbutikken har åpent i senterets åpningstider. Se våre åpningstider her.
• Nordvegen kafé har åpent søndager i senterets åpningstid.
• Avaldsnes historiske leirskole starter etter vinterdvalen.
• Vikinggarden er fremdeles stengt for vinteren, men vi organiserer omvisninger, vikinggilder og lagbygging på Vikinggarden på forespørsel.
• I Olavskirken organiserer vi omvisninger på forespørsel.

The tourist season starts at Avaldsnes this month. April is also lambing time  and therefore we hope all visitors can show consideration  for the little lambs and keep the dogs on a leash.

Until 23th of April, the History Center is open Wednesdays 10-16 and Sundays 12-17. From Monday 24th of April, we are open every day at Nordvegen history center and the souvenir shop is open during the historycenter’s opening hours. Click here for our opening hours.

Avaldsnes historical school camp  starts after hibernation.

The viking farm is still closed for the winter, but we organize guided tours, viking events and team building at the viking farm on request.

We can also organize guided tours in the St. Olavs church for groups on request.
